Cradle of Industry
Hancock Shaker Village is offering special programs to schools this season through a “Cradle of Industry” grant from the Upper Housatonic Valley National Heritage Area. Click on following links for more information. Contact Laura Wolf for reservations.
Schools may visit the Village at a reduced rate.
Hancock Shaker Village can bring three classroom programs FREE to your school:
♦ A Merino Lamb Visit with an agricultural educator.
♦ Classroom Incubator Project with incubators and fertile eggs provided.
♦ Textile Workshop with spinning, weaving and related activities.
