♦ Garden Assistant - Help tend the Village's gardens and orchard.

YOUTH VOLUNTEER PROGRAM - 2009
Hancock Shaker Village is proud to announce our
Youth Volunteer Program, designed for youth ages 12 to 17.
A supervised program of Shaker-related experiences, with daily projects at the Village like helping with farm chores, working in the historic gardens, fence painting, and learning to demonstrate Shaker crafts and trades. In addition, participants will experience educational and enjoyable opportunities such as hikes, and behind-the-scenes tours with our knowledgeable staff.
Seven one-week sessions, running Monday through Friday, July 6 –August 21, 2009. The fee is $100 per week. Youth may attend just one session, or any number of sessions.
