Be a Celebrity Guest Curator!

To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Hancock Shaker Village as an outdoor living history museum, a special exhibit, "True and Honest Before the World" will be on view from May through November 2010.  We have invited people from all walks of life to participate, and that includes you! Our guest curators include designer Michael Graves, television personality Al Roker, furniture maker Thomas Moser, and the most famous cellist in the world, Yo-Yo Ma.

Just answer the application question using the form below.   In April 2010, one entry will be selected to be included in our 50th Anniversary exhibit.  As a Guest  Curator, your photo will be shown by the object or creation, and you'll be a special guest at our Opening Reception on Friday, May 28th, 2010.  Thanks for entering!

If you could pick any Shaker creation that for you, best illustrates the Shakers’ enduring influence, what would it be and why?  (Please answer in no more than 3 paragraphs)

Please be sure to fill in all contact information requested! Thank you.
