Hancock Shaker Village has been the focus of media attention since 1781. Travel writers, social commentators and historians alike have featured the Village in a variety of publications and productions. From live weather remotes to documentary films, from travel guides to scholarly publications, the Village has hosted a number of writers, photographers and filmmakers and assisted them with their work. The Village's extensive photo library is an excellent resource for high-quality, professional images that are available for publication.

The Village also has a great deal of experience as a location for commercial photography and film projects, including fashion magazines and catalogues, print advertising, and television commercials.
